Yo Adrian! is an annual fundraiser benefiting
Barrett House, a Toronto residential care facility for people living
with HIV/AIDS. It is produced by Rick Wharton in memory of his
brother Adrian. To date this one-man production has raised over
$80,000 for this important cause.
The show is a "fast paced moving Variety
show" (The Toronto Star) and is "long overdue to be on tv"
(NOW). It combines music and comedy together in a fresh revitalized
way, blending the old guard with the new and upcoming talent in a
way that draws people in.
This show has been built on personal
relationships that Producer Rick Wharton has drawn from. It is a
labour of love, and a show with class and integrity. The reviews
have been outstanding and 100 percent positive. It is variety. It is
old style...but with new court jesters. This is the little show that
grew, and will continue to grow because of the passion for the work
and the passion for the message. |
